Frito Lay

Well it looks like the email I sent to Frito Lay regarding their product paid off as they responded.

Looks like I'm getting some free coupons sent to me within one week.

SCORE!

Rant: Frito Lay

So earlier tonight I picked up a 91 gram bag of Doritos Nacho Chips. This was a special bag because the top of the bag advertised that there was "40% MORE CHIPS FREE IN THIS BAG!" Awesome, I thought.

Not likely.

I pop open the bag and what do I see? Not even half the bag is even filled with chips. There's almost a quarter amount sitting there.

Needless to say I was not a happy customer. The bag FELT full when I picked it up off the shelf, but you can't exactly return an open bag of chips now, can you?

...can you?

I'm writing to the source and lodging a complaint.

Anyone else have any gripes against this company?

Ahh RATS!

So picture this. You're coming home from your evening out, and you turn the dining room light on, and you spot two giant rats sitting there, acting like they're supposed to be there, casually climbing the walls, lounging in the hammock, and generally looking quite proud of themselves.

That's right. We bought a couple of rats from an ad on Kijiji and it came with a HUGE cage, and tonnes of accessories. Way more than what a normal rat would need.

Of course, this GIANT cage wouldn't fit in the car, so we had the duty of dismantling the damn thing.

Meanwhile the rats are sitting in a cracker box in the front seat, poking their little noses out. Quite a sight.

Now I'm not sold on the idea about two rodents in this two bedroom place. It's small, and they're big.

BUT they're growing on me, so that's good I guess.

Names are Bella and Ro Laren (from Star Trek, but we just call her Ro)

Hockey

Well looks like the NHL post season is over for me. My beloved Montreal Canadiens have lost to the Philadelphia Flyers and are out.

Sucks, but there's always next year.

At least it wasn't a sweep.

Rants: Costco and BC Pharmacare

So I was out earlier today to pick up my prescription from Costco only to find out that I'm no longer fully covered! I had to fork over $11.19 out of my own pocket.

This is bullcrap! For years I've been able to just walk in, drop the prescription off, come back in an hour (or the next day) and walk out with my pills. Now I have to PAY?

I called Pharmacare up later on, they informed me that the pill I was trying to get is only PARTIALLY COVERED now, however Costco should have informed me that they had two generic medications offered. Because they didn't, I wasn't able to get the hotdog I so desperately needed.

Crappy eh?
